How to woodcarve a basic owl

In May 2008 I attended a wood carving seminar at American Wood Carving School in Wayne, NJ.  The class was taught by Linda and Kirt Curtis.  At the seminar, Linda carved my son an Owl out of a 1-Inch X 1-Inch X 2-Inch block of basswood.  I was so touched by her gift that I've been carving them ever since and giving all as gifts.  As of August 2010, I have carved over 40 of these little fellows and posted a "how to" You Tube Video so you can create your very own.  I hope you get a chance to watch.
